What’s up learner! This is ch6 of Tokyo Ghoul. Are you ready to study Japanese?

SFromA Level 1
  • やるな = (ya ru na)
    → not bad,

These words used by Takiyama-san to Touka-chan.
やるな has two meanings. In Tokyo Ghoul at the moment, the meaning is not bad.
But you can use “stop” too. Same pronounce, but different meaning so depends on the situation.

  • 待ってろ = まってろ = (ma tte ro)
    → hold on

  • ひなみちゃん怒って

    (Hinami-chan ha na ni wo o ko tte)

Hinami-chan, ha, nani, wo, okotte?
〜〜〜〜は~~~~
This is super basic conecction words.
another example is this one.

  • Ale is 20 years old.
    アレは20さいだ = (Ale ha 20 sa i da)
  • This is a pen.
    これはぺんです。= (ko re ha pe nn de su)

I did not explain about Japanese people’s name. Like Mr, or Miss.
In most situations, you can use “—さん”(—sa nn). If you use さん after name every time, You never going into trouble!
You can use “—ちゃん” to the younger lady basically.
Some upper guys used to under people when they try to be a closer relationship. If you are under guy, you must not use “ちゃん”!!You use “さん”
The last one is “—くん”, It uses for younger boys basically.
In Japanese high school, if you were freshman, you should call sophomore “—くん” or “—さん”
—くん is not bad to call closer friends who are older than you.
YOU CAN’T USE TO LADY “くん”!!!!
